Burberry Wet & Dry Glow Eyeshadow in 002 Nude

I'll tell you up front I absolutely love this shadow! The color is gorgeous, it's pigmented, but not so much that it's tough to blend out...quite the contrary it blends out and with other colors beautifully. I thought the shimmer might be too much at first, but I don't find it over the top - kinda perfect in giving the right amount of oomph.

Burberry Wet & Dry Glow Eyeshadow in 002 Nude, $29/.06oz

Of course the packaging is the typical Burberry shadow packaging - beautiful, weighty and what we've all come to expect from the brand. Depending on the light and whatnot, sometimes Nude looks more taupe or brown. To the touch this shadow isn't quite as creamy as the older Burberry shadows, but it is every bit as good in terms of wear and blend ability. Nude is such a versatile color, and I've been able to use it in quite a lot of color combinations. It's also just as gorgeous by itself :-)

Here's a closeup of the different shimmers. Look! There's a little dip!!

Sunlight swatches. Burberry Wet & Dry Glow Eyeshadow in 002 Nude compared to Pale Barley (new) and Rosewood (old) - gummyvision.com

Here's Nude in the sunlight. I've also compared it to the old Rosewood and the new Pale Barley. These are heavily swatched, and note how much more pigmented Nude is! I'm definitely smitten with Nude, and have the other 3 colors in the Wet & Dry Glow Eyeshadow lineup on my wish list.
